We have had a most wonderful snow storm--the best in years. It started Friday night with thunder and lightning in honor of Eamon's birthday now it's Sunday night and the snow is still falling. We trudged our way over to Connie and Tom's for supper tonight--Dad went by skis and Eamon and I forged a path through the many inches of snow. Dad says 16" and Tom says 20". I say it's really hard to walk through. But the temperature is warm and the wind has died down, the night is quite nice. i went out this afternoon and took some pictures of the snow AND I took pictures of the house because Dad wanted me to and I didn't forget even though he accused me of forgetting . Zara and Rex kept me company. The cherry tree was looking rather photogenic.

Artic Winds
Well, I guess my prediction is starting to come true. It's -12 this morning with wind chills of -30. The last time we had a deep freeze in February my sister Katie came up from Houston and it was -40 (no windchill) with 2 feet of snow.
Things have been relatively quiet here for the last few weeks, especially since my return from Los Angeles for a teachers meeting. The meeting was good but lots of sitting. Afterwards I was rewarded with a visit from Erin, Bayvin and Brenda. What a wonderful treat! We went to Disneyland. I've never had a lot of interest in Disneyland, but it was quite nice. The weather was cold for southern California in January (60 degrees and sunny!) so the park was not very crowded. Bayvin really liked the merry-go-rounds.
